RAY WHITE NEW ZEALAND REPORTS 16% INCREASE IN SALES FOR APRIL

Ray White New Zealand recorded sales that were 16% up on April 2017. However, the results were slightly down from March 2018, which was a personal best for Ray White New Zealand.

The month of April had several holidays which slowed sales marginally. The results saw the company sell 1,384 properties for a total value of $833 million. There was continued strong listing activity, which resulted in an 8% increase, with the company being entrusted to sell 1,757 properties exclusively. While the number of properties coming onto the market continues to be strong, the level of sales indicates a moderate supply of property available to purchasers and we see that May will continue this similar trend.

In April the top five offices across the nation were Ray White Remuera, who completed $47 million in sales turnover. Ray White City Apartments had another successful month, selling 77 properties. Ray White Howick was the number three office, completing $45 million in property sales. Ray White Ponsonby and Ray White Wellington both had a successful month, finishing number four and number five respectively.

There were seven offices who achieved personal best results in April. In Auckland; Ray White Drury, Ray White Parnell, and Ray White Sandringham. In the Central North Island; Ray White Tokoroa. In Canterbury; Ray White Pegasus.

The market outlook for the months ahead will continue to see a consistent level of activity in listing and sales. Interest rates will continue to remain at a low level and stability in government policy will add a further level of stability to the volume of turnover.

This month Ray White welcomes the Austar network of offices to the group. These locations included Blockhouse Bay, Central West, Green Bay, Hobsonville, Massey, New Lynn, Titirangi, and Commercial West Region.

The company has also renewed agreements with the Mountfort Baker Group, who have offices throughout the Eastern Beaches. And in the Upper South Island, the Baldwin Brown Group who have offices in Nelson and Richmond.

Ray White New Zealand will soon hold their Recognition Evening which will coincide with the 25 Year Anniversary of the company. This is to be held at Spark Arena in Auckland on 24 May 2018. Tickets are available through raywhiteawards.co.nz.
